Steve Robinson

Since WVV’s launch, Steven Robinson has been the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Legal Officer. He is a seasoned lawyer and operations guru with experience advising financial institutions and large corporations on sophisticated legal matters, operations and digital transformation.

Prior to joining WVV, Steve worked at JPMorgan in the area of digital transformation, part of a bank-wide initiative to modernize business functions and product delivery for a technological world. He also advised the bank on numerous compliance matters associated with financial transactions and onboarding clients. Before JPMorgan, Steven worked in corporate restructuring at Sidley Austin LLP, an AmLaw 200 firm. At Sidley, Steven represented large corporations, financial institutions and funds in complex regulatory and restructuring matters, including a $100 million fund clawback matter, which was ultimately successfully appealed to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Steven holds a BA from University of Missouri-Columbia, and he received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was co-recipient of best brief in the Henry M. Campbell Moot Court Competition.
